Tatyana
Born in Estonia. In 2002 as a good student of University of Economics and Management I was sent to Denmark for a student exchange program. I was so excited to travel out of country by myself for the 1st time at the age of 20, I did not pay attention to the fact that I was sent to art school. I was kicked out of painting class for terrible and hopeless drawings after a couple of days. But teachers decided to give me last chance- photography. The camera was an absolutely new and exciting discovery in my life. I built a great friendship with developer and fixer. So grateful today for learning basics techniques, playing trial and error with rolls and rolls of film, and hours spent in the darkroom.
I came to United States in 2004 and started free-lance photography in 2005. By 2007 I considered photography my full-time job. I tried different types and styles- fashion, head-shots, commercial and real estate photography. But what truly enjoyed the most was working with people, taking photos of their emotions and happy moments, their events and important moments in their lives. In 2008 I decided to focus on Wedding photography and as a result I photographed 48 weddings in one year.
Today I still work with people, and I consider myself an "event-photographer". I truly enjoy it and I believe I do it very well.
So, when is your next event???!
Beside photography my passion is traveling. After seeing Mt. Everest and spending days with African Maasai tribes I truly believe there is nothing impossible and one day I will go around the world. In my spare time I love being around my family and friends. Sport is important too. Yoga is my air. Cant stop playing tennis if I start. I also adore animals, in between photo jobs I take care of pets and enjoy unlimited pure love they generously give me everyday. But anything I do in my life - I always have camera with me.
